So great to wake to sunshine and blue sky!
We took the 1/2 hour ferry from Yeppoon to Great Keppel Island - an island in the Great Barrier reef. We went for a scenic hike which (due to navigation issues) wound up being about 3 hours. Great to hit the beach for some snorkelling on the reef and play in the sand.
I continue to have wildlife encounters - last night I startled two kangaroos on the front lawn and today I stepped on a ray that was partially buried in sand while we were out snorkelling!
