We drove into Rockhamptom today (30 min) for a scheduled tour of the botanical gardens which turned out to be a private tour...and a very interesting one.
We next checked out the zoo which was both free and excellent with all the Australian favorites.
As we drove by the University of Rockhampton, we noticed loads of kangaroos on the grounds!
