Our home exchange in Yeppoon
We arrived yesterday in Rockhampton then found their car in the lot and Colin managed to stay on the left while we drove to find our home exchange house. It's in Yeppoon which is a town on the East Coast right on the Tropic of Capricorn so this area is known as the Capricorn Coast. It's also the South end of the Great Barrier Reef.
Some initial stress with the key not working as we poked around the house in pitch black, but a call to their daughter and we got the help we needed. Great house with plenty of beds. On 7 acres of land so we are keeping our eyes peeled for wildlife.
Today we had a great day! We visited a crocodile farm, went to Emu park for a picnic, checked out the shops in town and watched a local rugby tournament.
